Should doctors be allowed to help critically ill patients commit suicide? Yes, I believe that doctors should be allowed to
help critically ill patients commit suicide. My first reason is that a
lot of people that are ill and know that they are going to be deceased
soon so why would you have a CRITERIA to keep them in pain? It makes
more sense to just let them put themselves out of their misery. The
patient doesnt have to get CONSENT from anyone but their doctor,they
have lived a good life so obviously they know they are making a right
choice. My second reason is that it's EMPHASIZED that doctors shouldn't
kill lives. Well taking the shot to end the process is much more
cheaper then to keep them on life support and on machines. Those are my
reasons on why it should be okay for the doctors to do this.
